Japan Release 9-CD Box Set. This is the rare Ltd Edition [5000 sets only] Japanese release [SICP 2951-9], which exclusively has the original 1966 Japanese gatefold layout Japanese rep sleeve of'Blonde On Blonde', with the Claudia Cardinale photo - not on any other release since the photo agent dispute led to its removal, and the reformatting of the'Blonde On Blonde' panel artwork, in early 1967.

Beautifully packaged in 5.5"x5.5"x1.5 cutaway box, which contains 8 albums on 9 CDs in thick card sleeves that reproduce the original release date artwork. NB that, as no original mono albums were released in Japan, the obi strip on each album is light blue, as per the original Japanese stereo LPs. The outer box has its individual obi, and is presented in a hype-stickered resealable outer plastic tight-bag. Discs manufactured and pressed in Japan and therefore do not have the heavy compression of the US/Europe pressings.
